Notice Regarding Payments by Check to the Clerk’s Office

Effective September 17, 2012, customers eligible to submit paper checks to the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan authorize the Court to use information from the check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from the checking account provided on the check. The electronic transfer may result in funds being withdrawn from the checking account the same day that payment is made.
