The Bankruptcy Court upgraded its Case Management/Electronic Case Filing system (CM/ECF) on June 1, 2021 to NextGen CM/ECF.
NextGen has a Central Sign-On feature that allows e-filers to use a single PACER login and password to access any NextGen court (District, Appellate and Bankruptcy) in which they have permission to file. To accommodate this change, parties may be required to take one or more of the steps identified below, depending on the user’s PACER account status.
If you already have an individual PACER account, and it was issued prior to August 11, 2014, the account will need to be upgraded for NextGen compatibility. Please review the instructions on how to upgrade your PACER account.
If you do not have an individual PACER account, you will need to register for a new PACER account. Each attorney/limited user must have his/her own individual PACER account. Shared PACER accounts are no longer be useable in NextGen. However, firms may set up a PACER Administrative Account to help manage attorney/limited user accounts and have those individual accounts centrally billed for PACER access fees. Lastly, to access NextGen CM/ECF after June 1, 2021, all electronic filers who had prior filing access will need to link their CM/ECF account to their upgraded PACER account.
